CHIP TRUCK DRIVER
Location:
Dryden/Sioux Lookout Areas
Job Description and Responsibilities:
-
Hauling wood chips from the chippers in various bush operations to Dryden First Quality, Dryden Ontario.
-
Maintain Truck and trailer(s) in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
-
Wearing proper PPE (personal protective equipment) and comply with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations
-
Communicate effectively and in a professional matter with other team members
-
Working a 5 day/week work schedule, with occasional shift work
-
Other relevant duties may be assigned that are not specifically outlined above
Qualifications:
-
Valid AZ Licence
-
Clean Drivers Abstract
-
Minimum 2 years of bush road/haul experience
-
Minimum 3 years with a valid AZ Licence
-
Familiar with the Ministry of Transportation Laws
-
Ability to complete a daily logbook

SKIDDER OPERATOR
Full time positions available
Location:
Dryden and Sioux Lookout Area, LIVE IN CAMP SETTING
BASIC JOB DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITIES
•Inspect equipment, grease and perform necessary basic maintenance tasks
• Forward wood to roadside and or to chippers
•Wearing PPE (Personal protective equipment)
QUALIFICATIONS
•Mechanical Harvesting Equipment Operator Certification is an asset to have, willing to help you obtain
•Valid G licence is required
•Basic knowledge of operating equipment (willing to train machine specific)
•Job requires you to stay in a live in camp (company provides each employee with their own live in camp)
