ST-ONGE LOGGING
Based out of Sioux Lookout, a small town in Northwestern Ontario, St-Onge Logging started out as just a husband and wife team back in May 2001. Originally from Quebec, Joel St-Onge migrated to Ontario to work as an employee for another logging operation in the late-1990s. After meeting myself, Elizabeth, in Sioux Lookout, (where I was born and raised) together we purchased our first piece of equipment. Little did we know at that time it was the start of St-Onge Logging and both of our careers.
Since then we have grown to a larger logging operation that currently employs over 50 men and women. We also have several subcontractors/brokers working with us in our operations. We have a strong core to our business and this has largely contributed to our success! Because of the distances we harvest from off the forests, we run out of bush camp set ups. Joel is the back bone to our business and Elizabeth (myself) is the "Jill" of all trades to support our day to day operation.
