We are St-Onge Logging, a logging company founded in May 2001 by Joel St Onge and Elizabeth Bernier. Joel came from St Pascal, Quebec to work in Ontario  for another logging company in the late-1990s, and met Elizabeth, who was born and raised in Sioux Lookout, a small town in Northwestern Ontario. Together, we bought our first piece of equipment and began our own logging business. Since then, we have grown to employ over 50 people, as well as work with several subcontractors and brokers. We harvest from distant forest areas, and have live in bush camp setups. Joel leads our business with his expertise and passion out in the field, and I provide the essential support for our daily operations.
